Renowned television pitchman, Billy Mays, was found dead, in his Florida home, at the age of 50. This shocking piece of news is coming on the heels of other popular celebrity deaths which include Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson.
Billy Mays was found by his wife, Deborah Mays, in their Florida home, at earlier this morning. At this time, foul play has not been suspected. It is expected for an autopsy to be performed by Monday afternoon, to determine the official cause of death.
Mays, the star of several product infomercials and commercials, was known as one of the World's leading pitchmen, and had become very popular in certain circles. Mays' latest gig was a Discovery Channel show, titled "Pitchmen" starred Mays' and his boss, Anthony Sullivan. The show had just really started to take off, and now this devastating news hits.
Mays was perhaps known for his electric smile, thick beard, and booming voice. He was truly one of the best in his field, and will be missed. Some of Mays' other jobs included Mighty Putty, Orangle Glo, Ding King, and OxiClean. Mays had also recently been employed by ESPN, to do commercials for ESPN360 website, as well as make cameo appearances on the sidelines of college football games.
