The Providence based online gaming and lottery company, GTech Corporation announced that it has signed another contract to provide a global lottery company with an interactive gaming platform.
GTech said that the deal was signed with Societe De La Loterie De La Suisse Romande (LoRo) and would entail the US company providing the group with its ES New Media solution from the end of this year. Jaymin Patel, President and Chief Executive Officer for GTech, said about the deal: “LoRo has been a valued customer since 1994 and we have developed a partnership that has brought about mutually-beneficial innovations and increased revenues to support the good causes in the Romande region of Switzerland.”
GTech will provide LoRo with lottery games that include EuroMillions, as well as exciting online gambling options such as horseracing and sportsbetting. “Over the past five years, GTech has invested significant resources to develop a flexible, end-to-end eCommerce solution that positions lotteries for the future direction of interactive channels,” added Patel “ ES New Media combines the expertise from the commercial gaming sector gained through the acquisition of Finsoft with GTech's proficiency in world-wide lottery technologies. We are grateful that LoRo continues to view us as a true partner as they enter the emerging new media market segment.”
From its headquarters in Providence, Rhode Island, GTech controls offices around the globe, including India, Poland and Italy. In the past, the company has won lottery procurements in states such as Missouri, Massachusetts and Illinois.
