Mya - A Front Runner for Season 9 of Dancing with the Stars

The ballroom is really heating up and the competition is closer than ever at week two of Dancing With The Stars. This is by far the tightest field Dancing With The Stars has ever seen at this stage of the competition. Some of the stars managed to deliver a brilliant performance, while other were merely a motion on the stage. The judges held nothing back when it came to the review of the performance. Many stars were a delight to watch, where as others left the judges bored and eagerly awaiting the next performance.

A favorite of the night of both the judges and the viewers, was the performance delivered by Mya and Dymitry. Mya and Dymitry really got things rocking and was by far the performance to top. Although Melissa and Mark fell short of an entertaining performance in week one, their hard work and training paid off in week two as the judges took notice to the improvements and stated that they had just put themselves back in the competition.

Despite being the second oldest person in the competition, Donnie Osmond was light on his feet and danced as he did in his much younger showbiz years. His attempt to draw attention to the fact that his age might have some relevance to his dancing skills certainly worked for the judges, as they actually made note to his bouncy, upbeat performance and commented how impressed they were for a performance like that from someone of his age. Sympathy votes is one thing Donnie and Kim do not have to worry about getting, the skills are there and the scores prove it.

There was stiff competition among many of the couples, so much so, that 11 people were within 3 points of each other. America's sweet heart and long time super model Kathy Ireland, will of only spent a short time in the competition but is grateful for the experience of working with some of the top star in the entertainments industry as well as learning from one of the strongest dancers around, professional dancer Toni Dovolani.
