NFL News - December 5th - Written by Jimmy
Things may be looking up for the Arizona Cardinals when they take on the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday.
Starting QB Kurt Warner may possibly return to his duties, after missing last week's games against the Tennessee Titans with a concussion symptoms. Officially listed as questionable, Warner was able to take snaps in practice all week.
Currently, online sportsbooks have NFL Betting Lines posted on this game with the Vikings listed as 3 to 3 1/2 point favorites. Arizona will have the home field advantage, and they're going to need all of it to keep pace with the Vikings.
When asked about the starting QB situation on Thursday, Cardinals head coach Ken Wisenhunt stated that it would be a game time decision on whether it would be Warner or backup QB Matt Leinart.
Of the 11 games Arizona has played this season, Warner has started 10 of them. In those game, Warner completed 67% of his passes good for 2,718 yards and 20 touchdowns.
There is little doubt that the Cardinals are going to need Warner piloting the offense should Arizona hope to win.
Other listed on the Arizona Cardinals Injury Report include LB Karlos Dansby - Questionable, RB Tim Hightower - Questionable, CB Bryant McFadden - Questionable, K Neil Rackers - Questionable, OT Mike Gandy - Doubtful, TE Stephen Spach - Doubtful, LB Will Davis - Out.
Look for the Warner decision to come in the hours leading up to the 8:25pm ET kick off
