While in four of the last five road games for St. Louis has gone the under, when playing Chicago on the road this trend is reversed.
According to current NFL Betting Trends, four of the last five games for the Rams at Soldier field have gone the over. Chicago is 5-1 ATS when playing St Louis at home. While St. Louis is struggling with a 1-10 record SU, they have a 5-6 record this year ATS.
In this past Sunday’s game, Quarterback Jay Cutler threw 2 more interceptions raising his total to 20, which leads the league and is a career single season high for him. The Bears are on a four game losing streak and have lost six of there last seven ball games; three of which were by at least 20 points. That being said however, the Bears have played very well against the bottom slate of their schedule, with wins over the Brown, Lions and Seahawks, outscoring them a combined 103 - 49.
On the other side of the ball, the St Louis Rams are still searching for answers in this 2009 NFL season. Quarterback Marc Bulger will miss at least three weeks and possibly the rest of the six remaining games on the schedule with a fractured shin bone.
In the loss last week to Seattle, back up quarterback Kyle Boller completed 28 of 46 passes for 282 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. The Rams will rely on running back Steven Jackson to create balance on offense against the struggling Chicago defense. Jackson is coming off an 89 yard performance last week in which he rushed for a touchdown.
Of the four wins Chicago has had this season; three of them have come at Soldier Field. St Louis sports a winless record a home, with their single win of the season coming on the road against Detroit.
