Congratulations to our new World Champion of NL 2-7 Draw Lowball ( event 23) , Nick Schulman. Schulman joined 95 other poker players in this $10,000 by in event all in the hopes of making it to the final table. Schulman is no stranger to big tournaments. He is well known throughout the poker community and often participates in online tournaments as well as live tournaments. He has 2 World poker titles making his career earnings over $3.8 million. At the ripe age of 24, this poker player has already made quite a name for himself.
Schulman quietly made his move to the final table where he outplayed several of the top professional players. His start at the final table had him sitting in fourth position until he made his move putting poker player Steve Sung out in 3rd position. Schulman hold a 2-1 chip lead over his opponent Ville Wahlbeck as they go head to head as the final two players. Wahlbeck hold 3 final table appearances in this event, but with all his experience it was still not enough to take down young player Schulman. This is Schulman's first WSOP gold bracelet and emotions flow as he comes to grips with the fact he now can add that bracelet to his collection of career wins.
