Event 15 of the 2009 WSOP has come to an end and we now have a new champion of the No Limit Hold 'Em. This $5000 buy in tournament brought out 655 entrants.After several day and hours of play, Brain Lemke kept earned a seat at the final table where he would fight to keep his spot. Going head to head with Fabian Quoss proved to be a challenge as at some points the chips layed 4 to one in Quoss' favor. Lemke had both highs and lows at the final table but some how managed to come out on top. Lemeke will take home a cash prize of $692,658 a gold bracelet, and the title of champion of event 15 of the 2009 WSOP. Fabian Quoss will place second with a prize of $427,912. Not bad for a couple days worth of work.
Jeff Lisandro takes home a cash prize of $124,959 and the title of Champion of event 16 of the 2009 WSOP, the Seven Card Stud. With over 358 entrants who put up a small buy in of $1500, Lisandro manages to hold his own and make a way to the final table. Leading the pack throughout day two, Lisandro floated through the tournament maintaining chip lead the entire last day and intimidating each and every player to the point of other players feeling like giving up. His aggressiveness paid off as he took out the final players one by one. Lisandro is no stranger to this game and certainly displayed some amazing poker playing which is what got him his first bracelet in the same event 2 years back. With a nice cash prize and his 2 WSOP gold bracelet, Lisandro has certainly earned the bragging rights for being named champion yet again.
