Event 22 of the 2009 WSOP brought out some of our favorite poker players which made for a very challenging tournament. After three long days of play, it is Jeffrey Carris who walks away as champion of event 22, earning him a cash prize of $313,673 and a 2009 WSOP gold bracelet. Carris beat out 999 other hopeful opponents who all aimed to make it to the final table. With his very own personal cheering section, Carris displayed great poker skills round after round. In less than two hours we had our new champion of event 22 of the 2009 WSOP.

Throughout a series of single tables, Carris came face to face with players such as Andrew Margolis, Christopher Moore, and Joseph Cutler, whom all gave him a run for his money. Carris sailed through each of the tables taking them out one by one. It was poker player Jason Somerville that would have the real challenge of going head to head with Carris.

Somerville did his best to put up a fight against Carris, but in the end was no match. After just 20 minutes of play, we had our new winner of event 22 of the 2009 WSOP. Somerviille coming in second earned him a cash prize of $194,004. It is Carris who will be sporting the new 2009 WSOP gold bracelet for winning this event.
