Full Tilt's FTOPS, or the Full Tilt Online Poker Series has finally arrived. The $16 million dollar series of tournaments is ramping up to full swing, bringing players from all over the world to the tables. Each tournament is sponsored by one of the professional poker players found through Full Tilt, and each one has a guaranteed prize pool.
The inaugural event, a $200 dollar buy-in No limit hold'em tournament, has already concluded, with s00tedj0kers89 taking the victory. He walked with the largest portion of the $1 million dollar prize pool, or $120,000 dollars. His runner up, kev19, walked with $115,000. Third place took $80,000 dollars, sending three players into new found wealth. Six hundred players were paid, many of which made $1,000 dollars or more off of their $200 dollar buy in.
The next event begins at 14:00 ET today, and is a 7-game tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $150,000 dollars.
Satellites are still running on all of the upcoming Online Poker tournaments, including the main event. A $2,500,000 prize pool is available in the main event, which entails a $500 dollar buy in. This will be a No Limit Texas Hold 'em tournament and will emulate the WSOP main event in depth and structure. Satellites for as low as mere dollars are still running, allowing players to win seats into this amazing event as well as many others. The FTOPS is a regular event through Full Tilt, and this is one of the largest series yet in terms of prize pools.
