Absolute Poker, one of the sponsors behind the Sports Legend Challenge, is currently offering free roll tournaments to invite players to the up coming Sports Legend Challenge tournament. Celebrities and professional athletes alike will be attending, and now the Average Joe has a chance to compete in a tournament that would otherwise cost $10,000 dollars to buy in.
Until October 14th, Absolute Poker will host free roll tournaments to allow players an opportunity to sit at the tables with some of their favorite athletes. These free rolls will lead up to a main event to come on October 15th. Nine winners from each tournament will break into the main event, all battling for a shot at the $12,000 dollar package that Absolute Poker is offering. Of this $12,000, $10,000 will go toward the tournament while the remaining $2,000 will go toward traveling expenses and entertainment purposes.
Millions of dollars are available through the Sports Legend Challenge, with free roll tournaments with a total of $10M being offered at the event. The event will culminate in the $10,000 dollar buy in tournament, with a prize pool guaranteed to be at least $1 million dollars.
Poker professionals, such as Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke, will take to the tables along with many star athletes. Amongst the legends will be Troy Aikman, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Sugar Ray Leonard, Reggie Jackson, Joe Nameth, and many other professional athletes from most major sports. This is the true dream for many sports fans, as they will have an opportunity to meet some of the biggest names in sporting history.
Of course, this would not be possible without Absolute Poker. Even if a player were to sign up for the Sports Legend Challenge, they will undoubtedly stay for the amazing cash and tournament poker tables, as well as the 150%, $500 dollar bonus.
