The NHL season is rapidly approaching critical mass, and the Stanley cup is on the horizon. The conference semi-finals are well underway, and the odds are in on who will take the Stanley Cup. The favorites right now are the Red Wings and the Canucks, With the Bruins and Capitals trailing behind them. This could all be moot, however, if the Ducks continue their 2-1 winning streak over the Red Wings. The Boston Bruins are expected to leave the Hurricanes battered on the ice for the Zamboni to shovel off. The Penguins are stuck down at a +1000 and definitely not expected to advance into the conference finals. Worse still are the Blackhawks and Hurricanes, who are projected at +1200 and +1500 respectively.
