Betting Lines Out On Where Conan Will Go After NBC

Gambling News - January 17th, 2010 - Written By Bonnie

conon o'brienHas Conan's time slot in the late night hours already expired? It is no secret that the late night talk we have grown to love has turned in to somewhat of a late night soap opera between the networks. Rating are sky high and the drama grows more intense as things heat up with talk of an exit plan for Conan on the late night show. Ever since Conan took over the late night slot when Leno left about a year ago, and since has been fighting his way to stay on top of the ratings.

The talk of the town is that a deal is in the works to move Leno back to his late night slot and allow O'Brien the chance to walk out the door with a fat payday. It is expected that Conan O'Brien will be leaving the show within the year, which will be 2 years short of his original contract worth $30 million. O'Brien will also hold no ties to the network and will be able to explore all his options with other networks, such as Fox.

These late night hosts show no mercy when it comes to poking fun at one another, as we say this past week as late night talk show host David Letterman fired some jokes towards Leno, which only gave Leno more material to work with as he fired back. While all the poking at one another is in good fun, Leno certainly got the last laugh when he stated, "Even Dave Letterman is taking shots at me, which surprised me. Usually he's just taking shots at the interns."

While we say goodbye to out beloved Conan O'Brien, the late night slot welcomes back one of the most talked about late night talk show hosts, Jay Leno. Conan's last show is set to air this week and Leno will be back on set February 12th, after the Olympics. Every good talk show host has his place in prime time, and the question remains as to where we can expect to see O'Brien after his departure from the late show. Entertainment Betting odds are showing some pretty good guesses at online sportsbooks such as BetUS, and only time will tell where we can find tv's funny man Conan O'Brien.
