Spider man is one of the most popular super heroes of our time. His remarkable power to help people in their time of need has made his character a life long favorite and it is no surprise that the movies continue to rock the box offices one after another. All three of the previous Spider Man movies went on to set recording breaking revenue in the first weekends to hit the big screen, and continued to rack in millions of dollars in the weeks to follow.
While Spider Man 4 has been in the works for some time now, changes to the cast of put the production of the film at a stand still as they reorganize the movie. Both the director, and previous Spider Man star Tobey Maguire, will be absent from Spider Man 4. A new director and reorganized cast are ready to re-boot the Spider Man series and bring a whole new adventure to Spider Man 4.
Marc Webb will call the shots in Spider Man 4, as he has been hired as the new director. Marc Webb has a vision for Spider Man 4, which is said to take main character Peter Parker, back to his high school days. Webb will have big expectations to live up too, and without 2 main pieces to the puzzle, director Sam Rami and actor Tobey Maguire, who undoubtedly had a had in the franchise racking in more than $2.5 billion world wide.
The film is set to release sometime in 2012 and is sure to be a hit at the box office, much like the previous Spider Man films. The new cast has not been revealed at this point, but production of the movie will resume shortly. The question add hand is just how well is the new film expected to do. Online sportsbooks, such as BetUS, are putting Spider Man 4 up against the film The Dark Knight and placing Entertainment Betting Lines on which one will do better at the box office.
