The wait is almost over and American Idol fans have less than a week before Season 9 of American Idol hits the airwaves for a 2 night, four hour premier, and boy will this season be worth the wait. One thing you can almost always count on with a new season of American Idol is change. The great thing about a hit reality show is that you never know what to expect, and American Idol is well known for spicing things up a bit with surprises. Some are good, and some are bad, but all and all, it's enough to keep viewers coming back for more every season.
Since the premier of season American Idol, we have grown to love one of the judges, and one of America's most accomplished entertainer, Paula Abdul. Her experience in the music industry dates back to 1984, when she was hired to choreograph a video for The Jacksons. Since then she has made her way to the top of the charts with songs and sold millions of copies of albums. This season, we say goodbye to Paula, as she moves on to a new place in her career. While her fellow judges, the contestants, and millions of American Idol fans will miss her dearly, we welcome a fresh face to the judges panel and one that is sure to bring some laughter to the oh so serious side of the table, Ms. Ellen DeGeneres. Ellen will take her seat along side of Randy, Simon, and Kara, come February when the show goes live.
It has been rumored for some time, that among those judges, we will eventually be seeing another one of our favorite judges moving on from American Idol. His blunt remarks and intimidating stares have made him somewhat of a household name, and one of the reasons why millions of viewers tune in week after week. Many fans believe that American Idol would not be the same if it didn't have the Brittan's raw attitude. This is a rumor that has been floating around for several years now and we have not heard any definite statement made from sources indicating when his departure from American Idol would take place. For now, he is a sure thing for season 9 of American Idol, but online sportsbooks, like Bookmaker, are already offering American Idol Betting Lines as to who will replace Simon Cowell when he leaves American Idol.
