Event 16 in the 40th Annual WSOP is a Seven Card Stud tournament. This event has been a mainstay at the WSOP for a few years and will still continue to be popular in the years to come. The 2009 WSOP event 16 Seven Card Stud tournament has a low end buy in of $1,500 so it will be very popular among players who enjoy playing Seven-Card Stud. The tournament was attended around 400 participants in the last year. The low attendance is more because the game is not as popular as Texas Hold’em or Omaha. Last year’s winner Michael Rocco walked away with a cool $135,753 in prizes. All players of Seven Card Stud Event 16 of the 2009 World Series of Poker start with $4500 in tournament chips, and the event will span 3 days starting on the 6th of June at 5pm. The final table will take place on the 8th of June at 2pm. Of the total prize pool 6.3% will go towards an entry fee and 2.7% towards tournament staff.
