On the 10th of June 2009, the 40th Annual World Series of Poker 2009 will conduct the 22nd event the No-Limit Hold’em Shootout (1000 players max) tournament. Event 22 No Limit Hold 'Em Shootout of the 2009 WSOP has a low buy-in of $1500 which is sure to attract the crowds, though the tournament is limited to only 1000 players. This regular event saw 1000 players last year as well, and the reigning champion Jason Young took away $335,565 in prize money.

The 9% of the entry pool will be set aside for entry fees and tournament staff.
