2009 WSOP Event 22 - No Limit Hold 'Em Shootout

On the 10th of June 2009, the 40th Annual World Series of Poker 2009 will conduct the 22nd event the No-Limit Hold’em Shootout (1000 players max) tournament. Event 22 No Limit Hold 'Em Shootout of the 2009 WSOP has a low buy-in of $1500 which is sure to attract the crowds, though the tournament is limited to only 1000 players. This regular event saw 1000 players last year as well, and the reigning champion Jason Young took away $335,565 in prize money.

In short, the 40th Annual WSOP 2009 No-Limit Hold’em Shootout Event 22 (1000 players max) tournament will begin on the 10th of June at 12PM, and have a relatively low buy-in of $1500. The 2009 World Series of Poker event 22 tournament will span 3 days, and each player in round 1 will start with $4500 in Tournament Chips, Players in round 2 will start with $45,000 and players that reach the final table will begin with $450,000 in tournament chips. The play on the first day will end with the completion of round 1. Each level of play will take place for 60 minutes, and the players will get a 20 minute break at the end of every second round. The 9% of the entry pool will be set aside for entry fees and tournament staff.
