The World Championship Limit Hold’em is the 33rd Event in the 2009 WSOP tournament. It has been scheduled to take place from the 15th to the 17th of June, 2009 at the Rio Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas. This is one of the most prestigious and much awaited Limit Hold ’Em tournaments and has been slated to be highly action-packed and entertaining.
Many Poker players have geared up to play this event and are looking forward to playing in a poker tourney series that begins with $30,000 in tournament chips. However, there are several levels that have to be surmounted before a player is awarded the coveted winner’s title.

Recap of Day 2 of Event 33 in the 2009 WSOP
The World Championship Limit Hold'Em runs into it's third day today. Two tables remain with 12 players. Kenny Hsiung holds first place as of last night with 831,000 chips. Michael Brummelhuis sits on 687,000, giving him a dominant second place position. Matt Glantz is down lower with 483,000. Matt has had 10 WSOP cashes and is hoping for a bracelet. Daniel Alaei, two time bracelet winner, also seeks to win a third. He sits on 330,000 chips, leaving him in a tough position. The action resumes later today, so be sure to check back.
Event 33 Tournament Recap from 2009 World Series of Poker
Event 33 came to a half with Greg Mueller on taking the cake. Doyle and Todd Brunson as well as Phil Ivey and "Poker Brat" Hellmuth lost out to Mueller in the World Championship Limit Hold'Em tournament. Greg's first bracelet is a proud moment for him, as we could all imagine, as well as the $460,841 in winnings. Six times Mueller has been in the top 10, and 18 times he has been in the money. The ex-hockey player has received almost $1,400,000 dollars in prize money, a third of which came from this year's World Series of Poker. Pat Pezzin was his runner-up, and he walked with $285,195. Chad Brown was the third place winner, receiving a sum of $188,855 dollars in prize money.
