Day 1 Recap
Joshua Schlein is an unknown player, but he is leading Event 46. He stands on 60,700 chips, beating out Thang Luu's 56,000. Thang Luu owns 2 WSOP bracelets, and is probably displeased by the newbie that is currently beating him, regardless of the small gap in chip counts. Scott Bohlman and Eddie Im are both imperceptibly close to the leaders with a respective 48,300 and 47,000 chips. Annie Duke is barely hanging on, as she has a meager 3,400 chips. Her fate will be decided today, and it will take a streak of luck comparable to a biblical flood.
Day 2 Recap
The field is relatively even in Event 46. Mark Tenner and Patrice Boudet are almost tied, with Tenner being up by 27,000 chips above Boudet. Tenner sits on 285,000. John Monnette is running not too far behind at 237,000. Mike "The Mouth" Matusow is straggling with 63,000 chips, but he may manage to rise above.
