2009 WSOP Event 47 - Mixed Hold 'Em

The 47th Event at the 40th Annual World Series of Poker 2009 will be the Mixed Hold’em (Limit/No-Limit) tournament. This tournament will have a relatively low buy-in of $2,500 making it a very popular event. The face that this tournament is a new event at the World Series, there should be a lot of professional curiosity. The hugely successful game format of Mixed Hold’em (Limit/No-Limit) will also attract players to this tournament. As with the other WSOP tournaments, Event 47 Mixed Hold 'Em (Limit/No Limit) of the 2009 WSOP has no rebuys or add-ons, and only players over the age of 21 can participate. There should definitely be a lot of media attention directed towards this event, and there will be live telecasts of the event.

The 40th Annual WSOP 2009 will host the 2009 World Series of Poker Event 47 Mixed Hold 'Em tournament at Rio Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas with a reasonable buy-in of $2,500. Each player will begin play with tournament chips worth $7,500. Play will take place in 30 levels with each level lasting for one hour, and a twenty minute gap between every other level. The tournament will begin at 12PM on the 24th of June, and the Final Table will start at 2PM on the 26th.
