2009 WSOP Event 49 - World Championship H.O.R.S.E.

Event 49 of the WSOP 2009 World Championship H.O.R.S.E. is a regular feature of the World Series, and has been around for a few years now and has been popular through the years. In 2008, Scotty Nguyen won a large poker prize of $1,989,120. The event had around 150 participants the tournament buy-in is a huge $50,000 which might act as a deterrent for some professionals, but going by past precedent, there will still be quite a few players. The World Championship of H.O.R.S.E is bound to have a lot of attention focused on it.

The 40th Annual World Series of Poker 2009 Event 49 World Championship H.O.R.S.E. comes with a high buy-in of $50,000. The event will begin on the 26th of June and span 5 days. All games will be played with limits, and the game changes every 8 hands. There will be 31 levels in this tournament, and each level will last 90 minutes with a 20 break once a level is completed and after the 4th level of play on each day there will be a 90 minute dinner break. The Final Table will take place on the 30th of June.
