Event 51 No-Limit Hold’em in the World Series of Poker 2009 is one of the last NL tournaments before the main event. This tournament has a low buy-in of $1,500 which should entice most professionals into taking part, which will definitely make for an exciting contest. This event is a mainstay in the WSOP calendar, and has proved to be wildly popular with the players. In the 2008 edition of the World Series, there were 2693 players who participated in this event and David Daneshgar emerged victorious with a whopping $625,443 in prize money. With an exciting prize pool and some big name participants, the No-Limit Hold’em tournament is bound to attract a lot of attention.
The tournament is the WSOP 2009 Event 51 No Limit Hold 'Em and it will take place over three days starting on the 27th of June at 12 pm and will have a buy-in of $1,500. The game will take place in 34 levels with each level lasting one hour exactly. There will be a 20 minute break after every second game, and after the 6th level, there will be a 90 minute dinner break. The Final Table will commence at 2 pm on the 29th of June.
