Day 3 began with only ten players remaining, which made up the final table. Chip stacks ranged from 101,000 to 1,500,000, with the bracelet winning Diaz owning only 324,000 chips going into the final day. This put him below the chip average, but he managed to stay alive and earn his bracelet. Chips were changing hands rapidly, with double ups and coming quick. The first to drop was Steve Watts, though the others would quickly follow in suit. By the time four players remained, nearly everyone was on even footing. Bill Chen clocked out in fourth place, and Diaz had proven to be the unstoppable force. Andrea Dato ended up shipping his stack to Diaz, leaving heads up play between Diaz and Anders Meli. Though the two started off on roughly equal footing, Diaz battled back to take down the bracelet.
