USA Poker WSOP 2011 WSOP 2011 WSOP Event 24 No Limit Hold Em Shootout
Another shootout tournament is scheduled for event 24. You will find that this one is also based on No Limit Texas Hold 'em. If you are a fan of shoot out tournaments, this is definitely an event for you. Only 2,000 players can enter into the event due to the nature of the tournament, and it is possible that this tournament will fill out. The second No Limit Hold 'em shoot out in the 2010 WSOP attracted 1,397 players , and it is possible that this tournament will grow equally as large - even if the buy-in is a little larger.
Going into event 24 you will see that they provide their players with a buy-in requirement of $5,000. Players will have to enter before June 14th. The tournament will last three days, ending on June 16th. While the tournament may not fill up, it will still be a fairly enjoyable experience. The lower field just means that you have lower competition to battle through in order to succeed. Even if 500 players enter, the prize pool will still break the $2,000,000 mark.
