2009 AFC East Schedule Preview

The 2008 AFC East champion Miami Dolphins, will have a tuff time reclaiming the division according to our 2009 AFC East Schedule Preview.  Tom Brady Quarterback for the New England Patriots is back from injury and, looks to reclaim the top spot for the Patriots in the AFC east division.  The New York Jets come into the 2009 NFL Season with a rookie starting quarterback in Mark Sanchez, unless he plays like Matt Ryan did for the Atlanta Falcons last year, Jets fans look to be disappointed yet again.  The Bills added some fire power to their offense in all-star wide out Terrell Owens, in hopes that he can help the Bills keep up with the rest of the division.

2009 Miami Dolphins AFC East Schedule PreviewThe Miami Dolphins snuck by winning the division last year with the same record as the Patriots at 11-5, but owned the tie breaker against them.  If the Dolphins hope to return to the 2009 season as this years AFC East champs they will need the defense to come around.  The Dolphins showed no signs of slowing down the offense in 2008 with running backs Ricky Williams and, Ronnie brown.  Look for the running game to be a major portion of the offensive attack once again in 2009.  The Dolphins finish the season with the same record as last year at 11-5.

2009 New England Patriots AFC East Schedule PreviewThe New England Patriots are happy to have Tom Brady back under center at the start of the 2009 season.  All Patriot fans know that Brady is the key to wining the Superbowl for the Patriot franchise.  Barring any injuries look for the Patriots to come out on all cylinders throwing the ball as much as they can.  Patriots return to the elite with a record of 12-4 winning the AFC East in 2009.

2009 Buffalo Bills AFC East Schedule PreviewThe Buffalo Bills come in to the 2009 NFL Season with plans on wining the division.  It's been a while sense the Bills lay claim to a division title and, Bills fans hope Terrel Owens can help them get there.  Marshawn Lynch will have to move the line of scrimmage if the bills want to utilize the long ball efficiency of Terrell Owens.  With out a running game opposing defenses will double Owens all day.  The bills finish with a record of 9-7.

2009 New York Jets AFC East Schedule PreviewThe New York Jets will depend on the play of rookie first round draft pick, Mark Sanchez to become effective during the 2009 NFL season.  However if Jets fans think Sanchez will perform better than former quarterback Brett Favre, they are in for a rude awakening.  Besides Matt Ryan most NFL rookie starting quarterbacks don't play very well.  The Jets finish with a below .500 record of 7-9.

September 20th, 2009 - Patriots @ Jets - The Patriots travel to New York for Mark Sanchez's first match up against new division rival quarterback Tom Brady.

October 4th, 2009 - Bills @ Dolphins - The Bills travel down south To show off new weapon wide receiver Terrell Owens.

November 8th, 2009 - Dolphins @ Patriots - The Dolphins travel to New England, the Patriots are the team the Dolphins show c asedthe wild cat offense against last year.

December 20th, 2009 - Patriots @ Bills - The Patriots take a trip to cold Buffalo in December. This week 15 match up should be a shoot out with receivers Terrell Owens and Randy Moss.
