The Super Bowl XLV Odds for New York Giants have them installed among some of the contenders to compete for the playoffs, and ultimately the NFL Championship. It would be good reason for oddsmakers to be somewhat nervous to tab them as leading favorites, given their season last year after beginning 5-0 and failing to make the playoffs. The Giants went 3-8 over the course of the last 11 games of the season and compiled a .500 8-8 record and watched the playoffs from the comfort of their homes. The collapse in the later portion of the season left a sour taste in Giants' fans mouths. The honeymoon effect of their Super Bowl title in 2007 is fading, and it is time for head coach Tom Coughlin to string together a winning season and compete in the NFC again.
In spite of the fact that the Giants did not make the playoffs, quarterback Eli Manning and company will try and advance forward and make it to the post-season. The Super Bowl XLV Odds for New York Giants have the team sitting at 25 to 1 prior to the start of the season. Betting Lines and trends change and things will begin to develop throughout the course of training camp and on into the regular season.
