If they have it their way, the 2010 Denver Broncos Schedule will start out the same way the 2009 campaign did. In '09, the Broncos came out on fire winning their first six games under rookie head coach Josh McDaniels and new starting quarterback Kyle Orton. That, however, was the highlight of the Broncos season, as the team stumbled home to an 8-8 record after tabbing a 2-8 record over the remaining 10 weeks of the season. It was dubbed as quite a remarkable collapse.
Denver had two separate losing streaks of four games, and despite that, had an opportunity at a playoff berth, but failed to transform that into reality, ending without a trip to the post-season.
A new year breeds a new outlook however, and Denver is quick to forget about the past. The organization perhaps made the most surprising move at the 2010 NFL Draft earlier this year in April, selecting University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow in the first round. Tebow was a highly successful quarterback as a member of the Gators, winning two national championships and a Heisman Trophy, but was widely considered to have faulty mechanics as a passer that would not produce in the NFL. The Broncos bypassed that notion, and took him with the intention for him to compete for the starting position with Kyle Orton, and newly acquired Brady Quinn.
The 2010 Denver Broncos Season Schedule will match them with the NFC East out of conference, facing games against playoff teams from a year ago in Dallas and Philadelphia. Additionally, the Broncos will play New England, Pittsburgh and Baltimore which could all potentially be difficult games for Denver.

Denver defeated the Raiders early last year, but stumbled down the stretch and split the season series with Oakland. If they have aspirations of making the playoffs in 2010, the Broncos will likely need a key victory like this division match up.
