2010 Indianapolis Colts Schedule
There is little doubt the Colts would like the experience the same success on the 2010 Indianapolis Colts Schedule as they did in 2009. In the '09 campaign, the Colts won 14 straight games out of the gate to begin the season. They won the AFC Conference and made it to Super Bowl XLIV where they faced the New Orleans Saints out of the NFC Conference. In a classic battle, the Saints bested quarterback Peyton Manning and the Colts denying Indianapolis their second Super Bowl title in four seasons.
In 2009, the Colts made history for the most consecutive season with 12 or more win, at seven. It was quite an achievement considering the parity in the NFL. Indianapolis has become the model for winning in the NFL, but has won only one Super Bowl during the span.
Manning threw for 4,500 yards and 33 touchdowns and collected the NFL MVP award. Still, he will be the first one to admit that his goals were not reached due to the failing Super Bowl attempt.
Looking ahead to the 2010 Indianapolis Colts Season Schedule, their are some difficult games on paper that loom. Indianapolis matches up with the NFC East outside of the conference this season, that will include games against Dallas, Philadelphia, New York Giants and Washington. Two of the teams made the playoffs in 2009 and the Redskins added Donovan McNabb. The Colts also face the Chargers and Patriots, who both made the playoffs.
