2010 New York Jets Schedule

Fans around the Big Apple are definitely looking forward to the 2010 New York Jets Schedule, especially after last year's success and acquisitions made in the offseason. Few teams made as many significant changes and free agent acquistions from last year up til training camp as did the New York Jets. Despite making a run to the AFC Championship game, the organization decided that they need to make moves to improve and have another chance at making the Super Bowl.

Led by quarterback Mark Sanchez heading into 2010, the Jets added running back LaDainian Tomlinson, corner back Antonio Cromartie, defensive end Jason Taylor and rookie running back out of USC Joe McKnight.

The Jets finished a mediocre 9-7 during the 2009 regular season, but defeated the Bengals, and Chargers in the playoffs before falling to the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship game. That game was a lot close than most had predicted, which has put the Jets as a trendy pick to make it back in 2010.

In addition to the hype surrounding the team, they will also appear on HBO's "Hard Knocks", which will chronicle the team as they make it through training camp prior to the season.

Looking ahead to the 2010 New York Jets Season Schedule, they will face the NFC North in the out of conference portion, from which Green Bay and Minnesota made the playoffs from last season. Additionally, they will tackle the AFC teams like Denver, and Pittsburgh, both of whom were on the cusp of a playoff berth in 2009.

The off season issues Roethlisberger has dealt with have been well documented, but it is likely he will find comfort on the football field. Sunday, December 26, 2010 @ 1:00pm (CBS) - New York Jets at Chicago Bears

The last NFC North opponent for the Jets is Chicago. The Bears are led by quarterback Jay Cutler, who throws one of the nicest deep balls in the league. The Bears underachieved by most expectations last season, and this late match up could be very important for both Chicago and New York.
