2010 Seattle Seahawks Schedule

seahawksWe will soon be entering the 2010 Seattle Seahawks Season Scedule but off of a 2009 campaign in which they tabbed a 5-11 record, and failed to make the playoffs finishing third in the NFC West Division.

Seattle struggled in their division against the top-two finishers in San Fransisco and Arizona, winning only one of the four games against the two. Quarterback Matt Hasselback led an effective passing attack, amassing over 3,000 yards through the air, but the team was only able to put up an average of 18 points per game. Contrast that with the 24 points per game that they gave up, and a five win season is the result.

The Seahawks drafted offensive tackle from Oklahoma State Russell Okumng with the sixth overall pick to address a need on the offensive line.

Relative to the records of 2009, the Seahawks have a relatively easy schedule outside of their division, that include match ups against the AFC West an NFC South. Seattle faces only three teams that made the playoffs from a year ago. However, that does include the defending Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints.
