30 Rock is the Favorite to Win Emmy for Best Outstanding Comedy

The 2009 Emmy nominations have been released for the Best Outstanding Comedy Series. Each year the Emmy's recognize the best shows on television, along with the top actors and actresses in various categories. The Office is listed at +250 to win the Emmy for Best Oustanding Comedy. This funny comedy follows the lives of office employees of a fictional paper company called Dunder Mifflin. The star of the show is Steve Carell who is the office manager. The Office should give 30 Rock a run for it's money when the 2009 Emmy for Best Outstanding Comedy is announced on September 20th.

Family Guy is tied for the Betting Lines third favorite to win this year's Emmy for Best Outstanding Comedy listed at +300. Family Guy is an animated television sitcom that centers around an often dysfunctional family known as the Griffins. The Showtime series known as Weeds is tied for the third favorite to win the Emmy listed at +300 as well. Weeds follows around a housewife from an affluent California suburban woman who sells marijuana to her neighbor to help pay her bills. Entourage is the Betting Odds fifth favorite to win the Emmy listing them at +425. This is an HBO series that follows the rise of young move star and his childhood friends. The sixth favorite to win the Emmy is Flight of the Concords who is listed at +450. This is also an HBO series, and that is centered around two people trying find success with their band in New York City. The biggest underdog to win the Emmy for Best Outstanding Comedy is the CBS show How I met Your Mother. Betting Lines have them listed at +650 to win the Emmy.
