Hollywood life, to the average person, draws the picture of glitz and glamour. From fancy parties and expensive cars, to the bad behavior that lands them in jail, celebrities find a way to keep themselves in the spotlight, no matter how talentless they appear to be. While there are many professional entertainers that are acknowledged for their successful careers and credible human nature, there are many more "wanna bees" that we as viewers, have made famous for no particular reason at all. These "wanna bees" get their five minutes of fame and turn that into a new founded career, despite that they generally lack any form of entertainment background or skills what so ever. But can we really fault them for trying? Almost anyone would take a shot at living a celebrity life style if given the chance.

Since America has a new found love affair with Reality TV, a number of the so called celebrities have simply made it big by appearing in some type of reality series. Reality television is in high demand and has in one shape or form taken over most networks. Any given time of the day, you can typically find some sort of reality series on one network or another. Whether it be some sort of contest or game show, to every day people having their life broadcasted to millions of people, reality television is something that we crave. The good, the bad, the ugly, and most importantly, the drama, keeps us tuned in to reality television day after day.

Fame puts people in a new playing field and often surrounds them with people and situations they would not generally be exposed too. As great as the life styles of the rich and famous might appear, there is a lot that goes on behind closed doors that we as fans never get to learn about. Although with fame, comes a sense of vulnerability to being in the public eye, we as fans generally only get to see one side of the story. The side of celebrities reacting to the paparazzi exposing their son or daughter's birthday, or a provocative photograph that was taken without permission and released to the public, or a lunch date with a friend that was turned into a scandalous love affair with a life long friend. No matter what the situation is, celebrities often give up one of the things we as average people hold so sacred, privacy.

Ever so often, we hear details of a celebrity releasing a "shocking, tell all book', and we sometimes think to ourselves, "I already know everything, I need to know". These books are generally a way for the celebrities to fight back and voice their opinions on people and situations that have in some way effected their life and or the people in it. Stardom can definitely change a person, and sometimes can hold an interesting key to how they got where they are today.

2009 has been a big year for many celebrities and it is only a matter of time before the talk of stands is that of a new "tell all book". Who's turn is it to speak out and tell a side of the story we may think we already know?
