With November fast approaching, poker players all over the world are getting excited for the final mach up of the 2009 World Series of Poker. The players will take their seats in just a few short weeks on November 9, and we will soon have our new 2009 champion. This years' series of poker tournaments have displayed some of the most amazing poker skills we have ever seen, some of those coming from our very own November 9 player Phil Ivey. Phil Ivey has been said to be one of the best all around poker players in the world. Phil Ivey definitely made his presence known at the 2009 World Series of Poker, so much so that he earned himself 2 World Series of Poker bracelets this year alone. Ivey was also one of many that managed to break some sort of world record throughout the course of his play. Ivey is certainly one we can expect to see seated at the final table for quite some time.

Whether you are an avid poker player, or not a fan at all, you almost can not help but be drawn into some of the big tournaments such as World Series of Poker. Not only do these types of tournaments draw out some of the biggest names in poker, they also bring out some average "Joe's" that sometimes make it just as far as the professionals. The 9 players seated at the final table come from all walks of life. We have professional poker players such as Phil Ivey, and we have our part time poker player Darvin Moon, who just so happens to have a substantial chip lead over the other players. This final table could go any way and we are sure to see some stiff competition from the moment the first card is laid.
