If you are like most facebook users, you are most likely a facebook junkie. Facebook is one of the hippest ways to communicate with friends online. Facebook can put you in touch with friends you have lost contact with, allow you to share pictures with friends, and even have instant conversations with other Facebook friends. Facebook is one of those things you just can't get enough of and probably one of the fastest growing online community networks ever offered. I can not begin to tell you how many times I have heard someone say , " I will just Facebook you". It is almost like people do not even need phones anymore.

The same can be said for Twitter. Twitter is one of the quickest ways to let your friends know what you are doing at the moment. It's just like text messaging, only online. I will be the first to say that far too often, people get carried away with their updates. I mean, do we really need to know that you are sitting on the back porch? Twitter has become a favorite among Hollywood Celebrities. For what ever reason, it is much more interesting to know when someone like Paris Hilton, is sitting on her back porch, versus the average person. We sometimes get to hear the gossip before it ever hits this news stands.

Both of these popular community networks offer multiple capabilities, which is one of these reasons both are as successful as they are. Which one is the better one to use, that all depends on what you are looking to achieve. Facebook is more of a place to converse with people, as where Twitter is more of a informational update community. If you have not had the privilege of starting up an account, join the 2009 way of communicating and register.

It is hard to say which one is better than the other, but traffic tells. Through BetUS, we found the odds on which one will have the most monthly traffic in June of 2010.
