The 2010 Super Bowl Odds have the New England Patriots as the betting favorites listed at 4-1 to win it all this year. The Patriots are welcoming back their Pro Bowl QB Tom Brady after he missed last year due to injury. New England was led by Matt Cassel last year and finished at 11-5 narrowly missing the playoffs. With Brady back healthy this season, there are big expectations for them going into the 2010 season. New England Head Coach Bill Belichick is arguably the best coaching mind in the NFL. Belichick and the Patriots will be looking to win their amazing fourth Super Bowl title in the last ten years as the 2010 season gets under way.
The Patriots have a very explosive offense which will once again be led by their star quarterback Tom Brady. The 2010 Super Bowl Betting Odds have high expectations for Brady's successful return listing New England as the heavy favorite to win it all this year. Brady will have plenty of weapons on offense starting with their big play maker Randy Moss. Moss was not as productive without Brady last year, but should once again play with the motivation this season that saw him break the NFL single season touchdown record in 2007 with 23. Wes Welker is another big threat for Brady as he has the most single season receptions in Patriots history with his 112 catches in 2007. These are just two of the explosive weapons that Tom Brady will have at his disposal. New England also added running back Fred Taylor this off season which should provide them with more consistency out of the backfield.
Along with the health of Tom Brady, New England's defense will be a big factor on how much success they have this season. They have one of the top defensive lines in the NFL to go along with a solid linebacker unit. If the Patriots can play consistently well on defense this year they will be an extremely tough team to beat. With the return of their star quarterback all eyes will be on the Patriots offense this season. The last season that he was healthy was 2007 and the team set all sorts of NFL records. With the 2010 Super Bowl Lines having New England as a prohibitive favorite, most people expect the Patriots to have a huge year this season.
