With only three races remaining until the Chase, this weekend's NASCAR Sharpie 500 sets up to be an awesome night of racing. The Sharpie 500 Betting Odds have recently been released, with Kyle Busch listed as the favorite to win with his betting line set at 6:1. The race is to be held at Bristol Motor Speedway, which sets up for an exciting race on a short track with drivers fighting to make the Chase. With 500 laps of close quarter racing, the Sharpie 500 could see some tempers flare and some possible multi car wrecks. The betting favorite, Kyle Busch, led for 415 of 500 laps in last year's race but came up short of winning. Carl Edwards took advantage of a late restart and held off Busch for the win. The current Sprint Cup points leader, Tony Stewart, is the second listed favorite to win Saturday's race. Betting Lines have Stewart listed at 7:1 to win the Sharpie 500. Jeff Gordon is coming into Saturday's race second in the Spring Cup Standings. The Betting Odds for the Sharpie 500 have Gordon listed at 8:1 to win the race. Gordon will be a driver to look out for this weekend, as he has finished in the top five in his last two races at Bristol Motor Speedway. Also listed at 8:1 is Jimmie Johnson, who is currently in third place in the Sprint Cup Standings. Johnson has struggled at the track, finishing in the top fifteen only twice in his last eight races there. Joining both Gordon and Johnson at 8:1 to win on Saturday is Denny Hamlin. In his last three starts at Bristol, Hamlin has finished in the top six all three times. With his excellent short track driving skills, Hamlin could be a good bet to pick up the win this weekend.
One driver to watch out for on Saturday is Dale Earnhardt Jr. In his last twelve races at Bristol, Dale Earnhardt Jr, he has an impressive eleven top fifteen finishes including one victory. Betting Odds have Dale Earnhardt Jr. listed at 20:1 to win on Saturday. There can't be many drivers who enjoy racing at Bristol more than Kasey Kahne does. In his last four starts at the track, Kahne has a very impressive three top seven finishes. Betting Lines have Kahne listed at 14:1 to win this weekend. Clint Bower needs to finish strong in the last three races before the Chase, and Bristol may be just the place for him to notch a win. Bower has finished thirteenth or better in five straight starts at Bristol. The Betting Odds for Saturday's Sharpie 500 have Bower listed at 20:1.
