Roger Federer Is the Early Favorite to Win The U.S. Open

Andy Roddick is the lone American hopeful to win the 2009 U.S. Open, and his first round loss in the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters, in Cincinnati, did not fare will for the young tennis star. Andy Roddick is a 12:1 favorite to win the tournament, but he will have the home crowd on his side. A-Rod became a world wide fan favorite, after his Wimbledon loss to Roger Federer just a few months ago. The British tennis super star Andy Murray, is also given good odds to win the tournament, Bodog has Murray as a 10:3 favorite to take home the title. This years U.S. Open is filled with drama, Andy Roddick is searching for his first Major title this year, Roger Federer and his wife just gave birth to twins, and Rafael Nadal is still recovering from knee surgery.
