That's right it's week 17 the last regular season week of football for the 2009 season and your last chance to place bets on all 32 NFL football teams. Week 17 is known for it's good games and it's bad games. Often times in week 17 teams that have already clinched a playoff birth will not play their starters past the first quarter, saving their efforts for the post season. In some cases though the fate of whether a team will even make it to the playoffs can not be decided until the decision of the last game of the season. This was the case for the Eagles and Cowboys last year in which the Cowboys lost to the Eagles sending Philadelphia to to the post season.

It just so happens the Eagles and Cowboys square off a again in the last game of the season in what could possibly decide who wins the last wild card spot in the NFC.  This easily could be the best game of the week or a blow out like last year, either way try to make tie to watch this game and check out the odds at USA Online Sportsbooks. If Baltimore has already clinched a playoff birth by week 17 don't be afraid of the Oakland Raiders covering the spread as most of the Ravens starting rotation on defense should be benched.  Same goes for the New England Patriots against the Houston Texans game this game is in Texas and, if the Patriots already have a playoff spot solidified expect Tom Brady and Randy Moss to ride the bench and the Texans to win this game.  Week 17 is always a rough week in football, most of will be looking forward to our teams pushing through the playoffs and into the Super Bowl.
