While the '72 Dolphins hold the record for an undefeated season, the 2008 Chargers held the record for winning not a single game in an entire season. This caused the most of the coaching staff, including head coach Rod Marinelli, as well as the president and CEO, Matt Millen, to be fired from their positions.
