Tennessee started the season at an amazing 10-0 before tailing off at the end of the year and ultimately losing in their first playoff game. The Colts season played out the opposite of Tennessee's season as Indy struggled early on starting at 3-4 before winning their final 9 regular season games to finish at 12-4 and also ended up losing their first playoff game. The Houston Texans finished 2008 with their second straight 8-8 season. Finishing at the bottom of the division was Jacksonville who finished with a record of 5-11. However with Peyton Manning back as QB this team will not miss a beat and continue there steak of seven straight ten win seasons. The Colts will win the AFC South finishing with a record of 11-5. The Titans will once again be a force to be reckoned with, giving opposing offenses fits with their stout defense. Tennessee will have some trouble scoring points and will end the season with a 10-6 record. The Houston Texans have been on the verge of a winning season for the past few seasons and this will be the year they get it done. The Texans will have a breakout year and also will finish the season with a 10-6 record. Jacksonville will struggle all year long in this division with problems on both sides of the ball. 2009 Indianapolis Colts AFC South Season PreviewIndy is going to look a little bit different this year, in the 2009 AFC South, with long time WR Marvin Harrison gone and with new Head Coach Jim Caldwell replacing Tony Dungy on the sidelines. The Colts however do have one the best Quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL in Peyton Manning. Manning shows no signs of slowing down. Reggie Wayne had already solidified himself as the team's No.1 receiver even before Harrison was let go. Anthony Gonzalez is an excellent No.2 receiver who fits in nicely with this offense. With one of the leagues best Tight Ends in Dallas Clark the Colts passing attack will still be potent. The running game will be solid with this years 1st round pick Donald Brown backing up starter Joseph Addai. The Colts will reclaim the division becoming AFC South champs finishing at a record of 11-5.

2009 Jacksonville Jaguars AFC South Season PreviewThe Jaguars are coming off a very disappointing season with they finished the 2008 campaign with a 5-11 record. The 2009 AFC South Season looks to be more of the same as the Jaguars will struggle once again. The release of veteran RB Fred Taylor leaves Maurice Jones-Drew as the primary back. With an improved Offensive Line and a deep threat in newly acquired WR Torry Holt the offense should be improved this year and David Garrard will have some more weapons to work with. Garrard will be better and the defense will not be as dreadful as a year ago, but this team will be at the bottom of the division yet again this year finishing the season at 5-11 for the second straight year.
