2010 Carolina Panthers Schedule | 2010 NFL Team Schedules
As an expansion team, the Carolina Panthers have had an incredibly difficult time throughout their 14 years as a team and the 2009 Carolina Panthers schedule is not going to be easy. Their overall record sits at a less than 50% win ratio, and they've only been that high since their latest couch. The Panthers have John Fox at the proverbial helm, and his coaching has proven beneficial to their record. The Panthers have only been to the playoffs four times, which is not bad considering they have only been around for slightly over three times that amount. The Panthers may not be the most popular team, but Carolina residents find their team endearing. With some luck, they will make it to the playoffs again this year and perhaps even the Super Bowl.
With the season right around the corner, the Panthers had better be ready for an uphill battle. They face off against the Eagles for during Week 1 on September 13th. The following week of the 2009 Carolina Panthers schedule puts them against their biggest challenge within their conference - the Atlanta Falcons. An equally disturbing team for them to face is the Dallas Cowboys, who they will play in the third week. The Dallas - Carolina connection is the first Monday night game the Panthers will see. The Red Skins will get their chance against the Panthers in week 5, with week 6 bringing the Buccaneers. The Bills and the Cardinals make up the 7th and 8th week for the Panthers, and the Cardinals will surely prove a worthy adversary for the Carolina based team. In week 10 the Panthers will once again face the Falcons, this time as the home team. The Dolphins then face the Panthers, and both of these mammalian teams will have equal footing as they enter the stadium on the Thursday prior to Thanksgiving. The 18-1 All-stars, AKA the Patriots, are the 14th week match up for the Panthers. The Vikings, the Giants, and the Saints make up the last three weeks before the Playoffs.
The 2009 Carolina Panthers schedule has them pretty much playing primarily on Sunday but with two exceptions. They have one Thursday and one Monday game. Their Monday game is perhaps one of their biggest, as they face the ever popular Cowboys. Week 11 is their Thursday game and they have to do away with the Dolphins in order to achieve a Win. The Panthers got some decent draft picks this year, so hopefully they will utilize the new talent to its finest. The first game the Panthers will play and it is in the preseason. They will face the New York Giants on August 17th, which is also a Monday, at New York.
