2010 St. Louis Rams Schedule | 2010 NFL Team Schedules
There is a good chance that it really does not even matter who is on the 2009 Saint Louis Rams schedule because they are not a whole lot better then they were last year. The 2008 NFL season was brutal for the Saint Louis Rams, finishing a gross 2-14 at the end of the year. Last year the Rams started off with a 0-4 record and caused their coach to get fired. The owners let Jim Haslett be the interim coach for the rest of the year, which proved costly at the end of the season. Haslett won his first two games as the Rams coach but then lost the next 10 in a row to close out the season.
It would be almost impossible to not improve this year no matter what the Rams 2009 NFL schedule looks like. The pros at the online sportsbooks are predicting that they will be able to pull off 5 wins this year, which would more then double what they did last year. They have 4 much needed preseason games to get their team together and ready to handle the pain of a 16 game regular season. The Rams 2009 preseason schedule starts on August 14th with the New York Jets and is followed by Atlanta Falcons on August 21, The Bengals on the 27th, and their final game on September 3rd.
The 2009 Saint Louis Rams schedule for the regular season is projected to be one of the easiest ones in the NFL this year. The 2009 Rams strength of schedule is ranked anywhere from 20-24 depending on which website that you are using for reference. They should have plenty of chances to win games with a schedule that easy that includes one game against the worst team in the NFL in 2008. Week 5 - Minnesota @ St. Louis - Sunday, October 11th - The Rams have a chance to pull a rabbit out of a hat in this game but it all depends on which Vikings team shows up. The Vikings have one of the top players in the NFL in Adrian Peterson and it could prove tough for the Rams to stop him.
