The 2009 NFL Week 13 Previews feature some key games that are sure to have playoff implications. At this point in the season many of these teams will be in heated divisional races that make these Week 13 games very important. A battle of AFC South foes will take place when the Titans head to Indianapolis to face the Colts. Tennessee won the division a season ago snapping the Colts reign as division champions. The Colts had won the AFC South five straight years before Tennessee won it in 2008. Will the Tennessee defense be able to slow down Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis offense? These divisional rivals will have a lot at stake when they meet in Week 13's match up. In Week 13 when the Dallas Cowboys travel to New York to play the Giants, it will pit NFC East rivals against one another. These two are both coming into the 2009 season without their star Wide Receivers from a year before. Terrell Owens and Plaxico Burress are no longer with the two teams, and it will be interesting to see which offense will miss their former big play receiver the most. Dallas' Tony Romo and New York's Eli Manning make match up of two of the NFL's top Quarterbacks.
The Sunday Night Game between the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins will be a chance for New England to show they are once again the top team in the AFC East division. The Dolphins shockingly won this division in 2008 finishing at 11-5. With a healthy Tom Brady back for New England it will be a tough task for the Dolphin's defense to slow down the potent New England passing attack. Can Miami prove that last year was no fluke when the Patriots visit Miami in this AFC East divisional battle? Another key Week 13 game will send the Minnesota Vikings to Arizona to play the reigning NFC Champion Cardinals. The Vikings have an excellent defense with the number one rated rushing defense from a season ago. The pass happy Cardinals finished 2008 with the fourth most yards per game in the NFL. This battle of 2008 playoff teams will be decided by which team's unit can find success. Will it be the Arizona offense or the Minnesota defense which leads their team to victory?

Sunday December 06, 1:00 pm - Philadelphia Eagles @ Atlanta Falcons - The Falcons continue their tour against the NFC East with a home game against the Eagles. The Falcons and Matt Ryan will find out first hand how good the NFC East really is. The falcons play all four teams in the NFC East and a loss in all of them could prevent them from having a season like last year. The Falcons claim victory in this week 13 must win game.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Atlanta Falcons Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 1:00 pm - St. Louis Rams @ Chicago Bears - The Rams Leave St. Louis and the warm dome behind, for a cold winter game outside in Chicago. Chicago plays well in the cold and use most of these December match ups to their advantage. Look for the Bears to continue this trend against the Rams in week 13.
St. Louis Rams vs. Chicago Bears Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 1:00 pm - Detroit Lions @ Cincinnati Bengals - The Lions leave the confines of their warm dome as well, for a trip to cold Cincinnati. Cincinnati is one of the coldest places to play in December. The Lions will have to warm up quick if they want a chance to win this road game. The Bengals pull off a win against the young Lions.
Detroit Lions vs. Cincinnati Bengals Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 1:00 pm - Tennessee Titans @ Indianapolis Colts - This AFC South match up might prove to be the best game in week 13. Lots can be at stack in week 13 for these two teams poised to make the playoffs again in 2009. Who ever takes a loss in the game will most likely end up in the last wild card spot. The winner of this game will likely win the AFC South division.
Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 1:00 pm - Denver Broncos @ Kansas City Chiefs - The division games continue on the later we get into the season and week 13 is full of exciting division match ups. The Chiefs will try to make a splash in the AFC West division and, a win against the Broncos at home is just the kind of win the Chiefs need to turn their franchise around.
Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 1:00 pm - New Orleans Saints @ Washington Redskins - The Saints take a trip to Washington in early December for a chance to get a key win against an NFC East opponent. The Redskins spent lots of money in the last two off season trying to netter their defense. The Redskins defense will have a challenge against the high scoring offense of the Saints. Look for the Saints to win this game on the road.
New Orleans Saints vs. Washington Redskins Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 1:00 pm - Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers - The Panthers have fared well at home in the past couple of years. I don't think The Buccaneers have what it takes to win games on the road this year. look for the Panthers to cruise by in week 13 with a win against the Buccaneers.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 1:00 pm - Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars - The Texans get another chance to elevate their status with this week 13 division match up. If the Texans can pull off an away win against the Jaguars it looks like they can slip into the playoffs with a wild card spot. The Texans lost at Jacksonville last year and won at home in Texas. Look for the Texans to take both of these games against the Jaguars.
Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 1:00 pm - Oakland Raiders @ Pittsburgh Steelers - The Raiders got shafted with this week 13 match up against the Steelers in Pittsburgh. The Raiders are not nearly ready to take on the challenge of a team like the Steelers just yet. The Raiders might put up a fight but the Steelers win this game easily in week 13.
Oakland Raiders vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 4:05 pm - San Diego Chargers @ Cleveland Browns - The Chargers Only won 8 games last year mainly because they lost games on the road. The Chargers should make the playoffs again in 2009 but a cold December game in Cleveland might be to much for the Chargers to handle. look for the Browns to pull off a surprise win against the chargers in week 13.
San Diego Chargers vs. Cleveland Browns Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 4:15 pm - San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks - The Seahawks need late season wins to make it to the postseason in 2009. Seattle is likely to fall off at the end of the season like they have in the past. The 49ers should be better on defense this year with Mike Singletary calling defensive plays. Look for the 49ers to upset a couple of teams on the road this year. Including this game against the Seahawks.
San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 4:15 pm - Dallas Cowboys @ New York Giants - If the Colts Titans game is not the best match up of the week, than the Cowboys Giants game in New York most definitely is. The Cowboys and Giants have had exciting games in the past and this game should be the same. Often in these meetings the team that can play defense and hold their opponent under 30 points, wins the game. Who ever plays defense wins the game.
Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 4:15 pm - Minnesota Vikings @ Arizona Cardinals - This game is crucial forth both teams. With only 4 games left in the season after this week 13 contest, a loss could possibly end the chances at the post season for one of these teams. The Vikings play a bit better on defense and defense wins games in the NFL. Look for the Vikings to pull off an upset in Arizona.
Minnesota Vikings vs. Arizona Cardinals Game Preview
Sunday December 06, 8:20 pm - New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins - The Dolphins are the only team in the AFC East that stand a chance at taking the division away from the Patriots once again. The Dolphins will need to win at least one game against the Patriots in 2009 to repeat as AFC East champs. There is no place like home and if the Dolphins are going to pull off a win against New England at home is where it will be. Dolphins take a late season victory away from the Patriots in week 13.
New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins Game Preview
Monday December 07, 8:30 pm - Baltimore Ravens @ Green Bay Packers - The Packers get to host this week 13 match up against the Ravens. though this looks like a game the ravens could win easily it's not. The Ravens are not the best road team and the Packers are an above average home team. Not to mention the Packers always have the cold weather on their side in December games. Still the defense of the Ravens wins the game in the end.
